Refund policy
30-day returns
You may request a return within [30] days of delivery. To be eligible, items must be unused, in the same condition you received them, and returned with all components and original packaging.
How to start a return
Email support@rattlestakes.com with your order number and the reason for the return. We’ll reply with return instructions and the return address. Please don’t send items back before contacting us.
Return shipping
For change-of-mind returns, you’re responsible for return shipping costs, which are non-refundable. If the return is because of our error or a defective product, we’ll cover return shipping and send you a prepaid label.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll email you to confirm. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Original shipping charges are non-refundable except where the return is due to our error.
Damaged, defective, or wrong items
Inspect your order on arrival. If any item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days at support@rattlestakes.com with your order number and photos. We’ll arrange a replacement, replacement part, or refund at no cost to you.
Non-returnable items
Items that have been used, assembled and installed outdoors, or damaged through misuse, and any gift cards, are not eligible for a change-of-mind refund. This does not affect your rights regarding defective products.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to exchange an item is to return the original (per the steps above) and place a new order.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
