Rattle Stakes is designed for active outdoor play. Like any physical game, it involves movement, equipment, and shared space.

Using the product responsibly and following the guidelines below will help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

General Safety Guidelines

  • Play in an open area free of obstacles or hazards
  • Ensure the playing surface is reasonably level and can securely hold the stakes
  • Always make sure stakes are firmly anchored before play begins
  • Main stake screw portion must be completely underground before play
  • Pull up on main stake after install to be sure it is securely in place and cannot move
  • Maintain awareness of stake locations during active play
  • Keep a safe distance between players to allow for movement and kicking
  • Keep spectators, non-participants, and pets clear of the play area
  • Stop play immediately if conditions become unsafe or stakes appear loose

Tether Safety

  • The elastic tether is under tension during play — keep clear of the face and neck
  • Avoid wrapping the tether around the neck or upper body
  • Be aware the tether can recoil or snap back if stretched or released suddenly
  • Pause play if the tether becomes tangled before continuing
  • Inspect the tether for wear or damage before use
  • Ensure tether clip is properly secured to the main stake, and the carabiner gate is closed before play

Age & Supervision

  • Not intended for use by children 12 and under
  • Use by minors should be supervised by an adult
  • Keep components out of reach of small children when not in use

Setup & Storage

  • Designed for grass and sand play. Always use in areas where stakes can be securely anchored
  • Do not use on hard or loose surfaces where stakes cannot be properly secured
  • Check all components for stability before each game
  • Store stakes safely when not in use
